The ancient game of "sowing and harvesting" on a counting board. Sow stones across the pits and collect more than your opponent in your store.
The goal is to collect more stones in your store than your opponent. Just 4 steps to your first game.
Two rows of 6 pits, each with a large store at the end. Four stones go into every small pit.
Take all the stones from one of your pits and drop them one by one into the following pits, going counterclockwise.
If your last stone lands in your store, you get another turn. Skip your opponent's store while sowing.
End your move in one of your own empty pits, and take that stone plus all stones from the pit across into your store.
Mancala is one of the oldest families of board games in the world, played for thousands of years from Africa to Asia. Behind the simple "sow and gather" rules lies deep calculation: a skilled player works out chains of extra turns and captures several moves ahead. There's no luck here — only pure arithmetic and a plan. On muta.pro you can play with a friend via a room code or practice against a bot — right in your browser, no install needed.
