From 24 cards, each player is dealt seven and three go to the talon. The ace, ten, king, queen, jack and nine are counted.
Players bid by declaring how many points they commit to take. Whoever names the most takes the talon.
The winner of the bidding reveals the talon, takes the cards and discards the extras to the two opponents.
