Classic Durak with a twist: when defending you can play a same-rank card to redirect the whole attack to your opponent — now they have to deal with it!
The rules are almost the same as classic Durak — plus one powerful mechanic.
Everyone is dealt six cards; the bottom card of the deck sets the trump suit.
A player plays a card against their opponent. You can pile on cards of the same rank.
When defending, play a same-rank card to redirect the entire attack to your opponent. Roles swap!
Can't transfer or block — pick up everything. Last player holding cards is the "fool."
Transfer Durak is a popular variant of classic Durak (Fool) with one key twist: the defending player can instead of blocking play a same-rank card to "transfer" the entire attack to the opponent. The opponent becomes the new defender and must cover all cards on the table — or pick them up. This creates chains of transfers and turns the game into a fun hot-potato battle.
