Name the country, keep the streak
Country streak is an endless mode with no map. A panorama appears, you type the country name, and a correct answer goes straight to the next one. The first mistake ends the streak, and the record stays in your profile.
The country streak works unlike every other mode: there is no map at all, and the answer is typed. Each correct country extends the run, the first mistake ends it, and the record stays in your profile. It can go on indefinitely.
Precision is not needed here — the state is enough. That shifts priorities towards alphabets and number plates rather than architecture.
The list autocompletes, so the first few letters are enough. A two-letter code is also accepted.
A mistake ends the whole run. Five extra seconds cost less than a lost record.
Names autocomplete from a list, so you only need to start typing. The classic trap is neighbouring countries that look alike: Belgium and the Netherlands, Czechia and Slovakia, Austria and Germany. Number plates, sign shapes and line colours tell them apart.
The usual killer is neighbouring countries with a shared visual culture: Belgium and the Netherlands, Czechia and Slovakia, Austria and Germany, Argentina and Uruguay. Plates, sign shapes and line colours separate them, not the general look of the street.
Keep a short list of markers in mind: yellow tactile paving means Japan, red asphalt cycle lanes mean the Netherlands, black-and-white wave paving means Brazil, blue enamel plates mean France.

A direct hit is worth 5000 points per round, and the score falls off exponentially with distance. A five-round game is worth up to 25,000. Distances are measured on the server against its own copy of the locations, so a result cannot be forged from the browser.

What the pool for this mode is made of:
| Europe | 29 |
| Asia and Oceania | 26 |
| The Americas | 20 |
| Africa and the Middle East | 10 |
| Russia and the CIS | 62 |
Seventy-seven — the ones with enough panorama coverage.
The round is quietly swapped for another so the streak does not end unfairly.
