A loud team game where you describe as many words as you can in a minute without ever saying them outright. Perfect for a big group and a fun night in.
The goal is to guess as many words as possible in the time given and score more points than your rivals. Just 4 steps to your first game.
Gather players into two or more teams. Teams take turns, picking a presenter for each round.
A one-minute timer starts. The presenter describes the words without saying the word itself or any of its cognates.
The team scores a point for every word guessed. A word that's too hard can be skipped, but a skip carries a penalty.
Once every team has had its rounds, the totals are added up. The team with the highest score wins.
Word Explain is a fast-paced party game of association and quick thinking that gets any group going in just a couple of minutes. The winner isn't the most erudite player but the one who can come up with an unexpected hint and read their teammates. On muta.pro you can gather teams into a single room right in your browser, with no install and no prep — the words, the timer and the scoring are all handled by the game.
